I guess try backing up your save file, reinstall a fresh copy, and execute the imagecfg.exe file on it before starting it up and see if that solves it. I see. I guess I'll try imagecfg, then. Not sure it'll work, as I have a feeling a system update that I applied long ago killed something for me.

The last report described having black screens in the menus, but (assuming by pressing the right buttons) they got into the game and were able to race with graphical issues. I was looking at the need for speed page on wikipedia and noticed that it said that NFS: Underground 2 to was released on windows but i couldn't find it on origin. i have NFS:U2 for Original Xbox but my disk has been unreadable for ages and id rather play it on my PC. 5.
