Back when I still cared about these games I tried getting 2 to work, but couldn't. Connecting a ps2 guitar via a usb port makes the buttons input incorrectly and a PS3 guitar did not work for playing the ps2 games for me. It's possible a solution exists somewhere, but I gave up after those 2 attempts didn't work.

Playstation 2 is not supported. PSP is but your experience will vary. Maybe in a couple years we'll have a device that can do that, but even then it's dubious. Ps2+ games are honestly hard to "emulate," outside of any hardware requirements. I have some bugs with some psp games like GTA, Rg351 runs some N64, Dreamcast, psp games with some bugs

Yes, the Vita can run that PS2 Demo which is just bare minimum graphics and animation. No the Vita will most likely never be able to run full blown PS2 games, there's simply not enough power in the handhelds hardware to achieve that. What might actually happen if current development is successful will be a usable N64 emulator on the Vita.
